Updates to Battlefield Bad Company 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Miscellaneous

* SecuROM is no longer present


Single Player

* Fixed: Graphical issues on some systems on SP_03 (at start and when displaying background mountains at Up river)
* Fixed: Character voice issue during cut scenes in SP_03b (only affected Spanish)
* Fixed: Hang when killed using TOW Launchers in SP_05
* Fixed: Graphical issue on some systems on SP_05 (displaying background mountains)
* Fixed: Voice volume in cut scenes on SP_06
* Fixed: Unexpected dialog at start of SP_08 (only affected Italian)
* Fixed: Random crash in SP_09 cut scenes


Multi Player

* Fixed: Server Browser - Joining a password protected server results in a connection timeout
* Fixed: Server Browser auto updating server list when reopened causing a timeout issue

* Change: New message displayed for attempting to join a password protected server without providing a password (reported as I get no message when I try and join a server, it does nothing;)
* Change: Displays version number on Front End Legal Screen
* Change: Display of weapon icon during loading screen

Last night, the stats system was changed from HlstatsX Premium to HlX:Community Edition.
We now host our own stats rather than paying extra for it to be hosted with hlstatsx.com

Basically it's the exact same thing. In-game you won't notice anything different (points and rank commands still work) except a new 'weapons' command that can be typed into chat to bring up the server weapon statistics.

The web interface for the stats is extremely similar too, with a few extra features that are part of Community Edition.

We'll be making some design changes to it in the future to match the rest of the site, but the basic layout will stay the same.

It seems everything has been released now except for the winner weapon(s).
So far:

Soldier:

The Direct Hit (Rocket Launcher) ->
[Primary slot replacement]
- 70% blast radius
+ 80% travel speed
+ 25% damage
+ Mini crits on airborne targets.

The Equalizer (Pick-axe) ->
[Melee slot replacement]
+ The more damage you take (the lower your health) = Higher Equalizer damage

The Buff Banner (Flag & Bugle) ->
[Secondary slot replacement]
+ With a full rage meter (fills by dealing unknown amount of total damage), sound a bugle call for 14 seconds of teammates-near-you mini-critting.

Demoman

The Eyelander (Long Sword) ->
[Melee slot replacement]
- Unknown% total health
+ Unknown% max health per kill (up to 4 kills)
+ Unknown% speed boost per kill (up to 4 kills)
- No crit ability (except with "The Chargin' Targe)

The Chargin' Targe (Shield) ->
[Secondary slot replacement]
+ Possibly has a chance to block enemy sword or melee weapon (?)
+ 50% Fire damage resistance
+ 65% Blast damage resistance
+ Alt-fire = Charge.

Medium range charge + melee weapon = mini crit
Long range charge + melee weapon = full crit

The Scottish Resistance (Sticky Bomb Launcher) ->
[Secondary slot replacement]
+ 2x Sticky limit (16 total)
+ Ability to destroy enemy sticky bombs
+ Detonate specific sticky groups by alt-firing while looking at them
- Additional 0.4 second priming rate per sticky bomb.

Which do you think is the best or most useless addition?

My crappy standard dell mouse is, well just that, crappy.

Any suggestions for a good mouse? Of course for good for gaming... semi preferably wireless although that's not that big of a deal.
