I herd something about Blizzard toning down on the violence/horror/gore level (lower than Diablo 2's) during the development of D3...so that a younger audience can play it. I hope that doesn't ruin the game since one of my favorite aspects of Diablo 2 was how scary some of the levels looked (even though I was like 14 at the time XD)

Blizzard is out to rob you of both your life and money. Although, if it's JUST 29 more missions per expansion, then I can see the greed-train that is Blizzard, being merciful. In that case, it would be about $25 tops

BFBC2 help

i just purchased a retail copy of battlefield bad company 2. i would like to be able to join you all online, but steam does not allow me to add it as a non steam game or anything like that. how would i do this so i could play with all of you. if there is no way, what servers do you all usualy play on?

Scratch the above. it doesent work right on my computer no matter what. I have it on the lowest settings and it still is extremely lagy even on the single player. the crosshairs keep expanding and taking up alot of space and it is almost unplayable. it would be nice if this is just a technical problem on EA's side of things, but i think my new pc just can't run it. i just wasted 50$ on it and it wont work. if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate them.

Hurdur your "new pc" is probably below min req
Those are called dynamic crosshairs, they're a part of the game

Don't be a douche, especially if he was really looking forward to gaming with us
Jayhawk may want to consider a video upgrade if that is the issue. A "new" PC should be more than able to handle it unless the video card blows.

naw, the requirements fit to the best of my knoledge. i have a AMD Atholon 2 quade core, a nvidia 9100, and the minimum is 7800 (with my luck a 7800 is probably better than a 9100) and all that stuff. i did return it, but walmart is a bitch and only does an even trade so it wouldent let me get l4d2 instead :mad: i tried the "authenticate with disk" this time and the lag is slightly lessened.

yeah, 7800 outclasses the 9100 in terms of gaming graphics
also, Athlon II Quad Core isn't very descriptive. was there a clock speed or any other designations to go with it?
