He pretty much bitched at my manager until he got his whole meal free. His wife however tipped me $10 as an apology though :D

I lieky.
I wish you guys would add some javascript for the corners in ie though ;(
The background (of the page content) doesn't show up in ie 8 but does in compat mode, BUT the background is too close to the text colors so they can barely be read. ie doesn't support transparency that way woo... ><

The header background image doesn't show up (only the snigs sign)
the frontpage is borked, even in firefox

Edit:

filter:alpha(opacity=35);

or

filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#35FFFFFF,endColorstr#35FFFFFF);
zoom: 1

Do you seriously use IE or are you just checking the site in it?

The header will be fixed... IE doesn't seem to like the rotate.php
A background color is being added as a fallback for the transparent parts.

I've been using IE because my firefox has a memory leak that I'm too lazy to fix
besides you should get it working in all major browsers anyway

About that homepage thing, I think that the forums should just standardize itself to this theme.

Might try the latest beta... although I believe I have some problems with memory too.
And for some small things, web standards and local user statistics triumph over general population user statistics.

And IE? You could at least get Chrome, or Opera, or Safari...

That's what the vote was for. And so far, nobody has voted no. :D

I'm talkin about the W3C standards. IE semi-follows them but fails in many areas.
Although apparently the next version of IE actually has gained a few points in the Acid3 test... from something like 22 to 27. lul.

Firefox is my friend! I would love something less memory intensive and faster but I can't part with xmarks (for bookmark backups) and adblock. I tried and I just can't part with them!

With the brighter non-dark skin. It is harder to see which posts are read and un-read. Go to any part of the boards with the new skin, like the index and other threads and new content parts.

I suggest making read and un-read thread more visually pronounced with maybe completely new icons depicting read and unread threads.

--

Just look at the difference between them, just having them a different shade isn't as clear on a lighter non-dark skin.

And here is an example of New Content with read and un-read posts. Just from this, the read and un-read posts are not as clear as they could be in my opinion.

I suggest fine tuning the font colors in some areas of the boards to prevent text from bleeding into the background.

The colors on the shoutbox and other parts of the forum are too light IMO.

Overall, I was thinking of replacing the icons with things that are more creative and Iceworld-friendly. When I start working on the forum icon legend, I will post examples of the regular topic icons, one with replies and one with no new replies; I would then like to have feedback from members so I can adjust them accordingly, if needed.

I did plan on fixing that eventually. I can get it done soon.

Do you mean the color used in the shoutbox? What other parts of the forum?

! - I would like to let everybody know that if you find any parts of text that bleed into the background, please notify me somehow, with a screenshot or link of where the text is.

Also the top is a little wonky for chrome users, the SNiGS sign overlaps the Home, Forums, Game Stats, and Ban System links. They're functional but only if you know where each is. I'd send a screen shot but I'm in class right now and they don't use chrome.
